Kamloops
Kamloops: Kamloops is the English translation of the Native Shuswap word Tk’emlúps, which means “where the rivers meet.” This land has been the home of the Tk’emlupsemc, the “people of the confluence,” for centuries.
These landscapes were sculpted by wind and water. It's in Kamloops that the north and south Thompson rivers make their junction, and this particular area boasts a variety of landscapes, including desert-like plains, wide-open grasslands, scented sagebrush, cultural ponderosa pine forests, jagged sandstone canyons, and chiseled hoodoos which give an unreal aspect to the landscape.
With abundant sunshine all year round, the second-largest city in BC has 100+ lakes that are easily accessible, ideal for fishing and paddling, and much more.
Mountain biking, horseback riding, and golfing are just a few examples of activities you could also do in the area. In the winter, you can snowshoe, cross-country ski, downhill ski, and snowboard at Sun Peaks Resort and Harper Mountain.
HEAD TO THE RIVER TO DISCOVER YOURSELF
Water is always great for a boudoir or nude art shoot. Whether it's the ocean, sea, rivers, lakes, or waterfalls, there are so many places where you can have a perfect session. The water will provide you with a safe and relaxing shooting area.
Morgyn (the beautiful muse you can see here) decided to do her makeup - which she did perfectly. Most of our clients choose to do their makeup as they want to personalize themselves and take the time to get ready in a relaxing atmosphere before the shoot.
This half-day shoot started with a sexy "women in business" shoot (coming soon). This shoot aims to show a different perspective of being a woman in the workforce. Of course, it doesn't accurately portray how they work; it's more about crafting a boudoir shoot in a place of work.
We continued this day with an outdoor shoot. The first part was an excellent warmup for the entire team (including the customers), as this outside session was unbelievable.
With a perfect location close to the city, with tons of different backgrounds and many possibilities - it was perfect. We can't wait to return to Kamloops to do it again.

Kelowna
Cocooned on Okanagan Lake's east shore, Kelowna is a sun-kissed, easygoing city surrounded by many vineyards. Set in British Columbia's wine country, good food and drink are central to Kelowna's way of life, as is golfing, skiing, and boating on the lake. Go wine or cider tasting (on your own or following a wine tour), shop at an orchard fruit stand, cycle, hike, and snowshoe. Active adventurers will enjoy a visit to Myra Canyon on the reclaimed Kettle Valley Railway, which offers fantastic views and a kick of adrenaline. You can cycle through tunnels and over trestles and even alongside a steep canyon rock face. South of Kelowna and Penningtons, you will find another desert: Osoyoos.

Our obsessions
We are fans of the female form. Even if we like to shoot men too, feminine curves are, from our point of view, a unique beauty. Harmonizing it with water or open spaces is simply the cherry on top.
Many things complement the human form - rocks, with their powerful aura and their curves, lines, textures, and palettes of colors that perfectly highlight human curves...desolate landscapes, snow, sand, garrigue, maquis, scrubland, different lights, and a dramatic sky.

NUDE OR NON-NUDE, THAT'S THE QUESTION
We shoot nude, partially nude, and implied nude.
We see nudity in the same light as sculptors see clay - simply a tool to create an art piece.
We do nude shoots with no self-censorship or censorship from others, but we do it for a reason. We consider it a part of the soul, yourself, and your personality.
But that doesn't mean that we'll always do nude shoots. First, because your comfort is our priority, and second, there is time for everything. If you're asking questions like, "Do I have to?" or "Should I?" we'd probably say: not now.
It's not about your body and not about your shape. Sometimes it seems logical to shoot nude, and sometimes it doesn't. Everything is about harmony, and photography will manage that. The beauty of a photograph doesn't just concern the body - let's make art together.
